Actress Cheryl Hines is showing her support for her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., after he was appointed to President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet.
Hines, a vocal Democrat, was seen celebrating with Kennedy at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort. This is the first time the couple has been seen together at a Trump event since the election.
Sources say Hines has been supportive of Kennedy’s decision to join Trump’s administration. She was with him when he visited Mar-a-Lago the day after the election and was present when Trump offered him the position of Health and Human Services Secretary.
Months ago, Hines expressed concern about the impact Kennedy’s support of Trump could have on their marriage. However, she seems to have softened her stance since then.
Kennedy’s appointment has also led to rumors that he and Hines have separated. However, sources say Hines has remained supportive despite reports that Kennedy exchanged sexually explicit messages with a reporter.
