Sadelle’s provides holiday meals for 4,000 Dallas families

DALLAS (KDAF) — Sadelle’s Highland Park is partnering with the S.M. Wright Foundation’s “Christmas in the Park” event to provide holiday meals for 4,000 Dallas families in need.

Christmas in The Park is part of Major Food Group’s MAJOR GOODinitiative, which partners with local organizations to provide food, served with dignity, to those in need. Sadelle’s is making it possible to offer fresh turkeys, chickens and hams to underserved families in Dallas at the annual event taking place on December 14. These items will be available in the event’s pantry, located in the Automobile Building at Fair Park.

All proceeds from sales of The Sadelle’s Holiday Box will directly support the purchase of the food and a refrigerated truck for storage at the Christmas in the Park event. Here’s details on the Holiday Box:

  • Price: $300
  • Serves four – six people
  • Each package includes signature bagels, house made spreads, salads, House-Cured and Smoked Scottish Salmon, and an assortment of cookies, brownies and macaroons
