The Town of Southern Pines recently shared that changes are “coming with the New Year” to the town’s garbage and recycling programs. “Recycling will be provided on a bi-weekly, opt-in subscription service only,” announced the Town of Southern Pines in an official civic alert. Per the alert, customers who subscribe will receive a 95-gallon recycle cart. Recycle bins will no longer be collected.
