DA: Man gets life in prison for deadly 2022 York County shooting

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A man will spend the rest of his life in prison for shooting and killing another man two years ago in York County, the District Attorney’s Office announced.

Tyrell Christian, 30, of York was sentenced to life in prison for shooting and killing 19-year-old Ethan Mooney in 2022, a Facebook post from the York DA states.

Previously, Christian was found guilty of first-degree murder and a firearm charge.

Mooney was found in the 500 block of W. Market Street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
