Mesa, AZ — According to Mesa Fire & Rescue, a large residential fire broke out at 9664 E Solina Ave around 12:00 PM today, prompting a swift response from Mesa Fire & Rescue, the Queen Creek Fire Department, and Mesa Police.

On arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke pouring from a bathroom, which became the focus of their efforts to locate and extinguish the source. To ensure public and responder safety, roads in the vicinity were shut down, allowing crews to work unimpeded.

Given the intense heat and thick smoke, which was visible from miles away, Mesa Fire & Rescue established a rehab station to support their team. The fire was successfully extinguished by 2:00 PM, with all units clearing the scene shortly thereafter.

No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Great job Mesa Fire & Rescue, Mesa Police, and Queen Creek Fire for the job well done!
