Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond is adamant that Kevin Ray Underwood, a convicted child murderer, should not receive clemency. In 2006, Underwood carried out the disturbing murder of 10-year-old Jamie Rose Bolin, who lived next door to him in Purcell. According to a statement from the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, Underwood meticulously planned to abduct, assault, and kill Bolin in a chilling case which also involved cannibalistic intent.
