I totally agree with the article by Joseph Gerth pertaining to LMPD officer Dusten Dean . Officers who attack people either verbally, with pepper balls, or any other type of non-lethal ammunition do not deserve to wear the badge.
They are not serving people, but instead are intimidating people who are not being a threat in any way by exercising their legal right to peacefully protest. My sons, daughters-in-law and my grandson live in Louisville, and such actions make me terribly afraid for their safety when the police are supposed to be keeping them safe.
Hopefully justice will be served since this case has been reopened, and he will be dismissed from the police force.
