$5.2 million worth of cannabis seized in Solano County

( KRON ) — The Department of Cannabis Control seized 3,198 pounds of cannabis and several guns while serving search warrants in Fairfield and Suisun City, the DCC announced Friday. The operation resulted in three arrests.

The DCC served six search warrants on Nov. 5 and 6. In total, it seized 5,452 cannabis plants, 3,198 pounds of illegal cannabis, eight guns and $1,337 in cash.

Over 60 grams of fentanyl, 100 grams of meth found in search warrant

The arrests were for illegal cultivation, possession of cannabis for sale and child endangerment. The DCC did not identify the suspects.

The child endangerment charge came after officers found a 3-year-old near the guns and drugs. They were handed over to Child Protective Services.

“California will not tolerate illegal cannabis activity, especially that which endangers public safety and undermines our legal market,” said DCC Director Nicole Elliott.

Several locations were red-tagged for dangerous conditions, including mold and toxic chemicals.
