WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — D.C. police said two pedestrians were hit by a car in Southeast Friday evening.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said officers responded to the 300 block of 37th St. after a woman and a girl were hit by a car.

The woman and girl were both still conscious and breathing when they were taken to the hospital.
MPD said the car that hit them stayed at the scene.
