If you’re anything like me, you might’ve cut back on drinking alcohol yet miss the salty freshness of a margarita.
With a new Lehigh Valley bottle shop, you could get the best of both worlds.
Tonic , which had a soft opening in October at 106 N. Fourth St. in Easton, sells non-alcoholic versions of drinks such as wine, whiskey, tequila and cocktails.
Jackie Rueda, who co-owns Tonic with her husband Wilson, said the new shop’s non-alcoholic and healthier beverages align with the wellness ethos of their cafe and juice bar Green Vida Company in Forks Township and the Easton Public Market.
“So it’s just something different and something that’s not in the Lehigh Valley, and there’s definitely a demand for it now. People don’t want mocktails, they want sophisticated drinks that don’t contain alcohol,” she said.
The bottle shop operates noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
In the future, Rueda said she hopes to hold a grand opening January and add a bar and tapas area later next year.
