Man wanted for stealing $1.5K in Brooklyn cellphone store armed robbery

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a cellphone store in Brooklyn at gunpoint earlier this month and made off with $1,500 in cash.

At about 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, a man entered a Metro by T-Mobile cellphone store located at 755 Flatbush Ave. in Prospect Lefferts Garden.

At the register the man pulled out a gun and demanded money.

He removed about $1,500 from the register before fleeing the location on foot, running southbound down Flatbush Avenue.

Police said that the suspect was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black boots. He was carrying a black Jimmy Jazz bag.
