OMAHA, Neb. – Widespread rain and gusty winds are forecast to arrive in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa Monday morning and continue into Monday night. Temperatures Monday will remain in the low to mid 50s throughout the day with winds out of the east gusting up to 30 mph. Rain totals through Monday night are expected generally between 1 to 2 inches, with higher amounts situated along and south of the Platte River.
