(FOX40.COM) — A pedestrian man in a wheelchair was killed after a car crashed into him on Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Around 5:30 a.m., CHP responded to Watt Avenue near Roseville Road for a man in a wheelchair who was in one of the street lanes. Details on why he was in the road are unclear but, he was hit by a sedan.

Police said the pedestrian was transported to the hospital with major injuries and was later pronounced dead. The cause of the collision is under investigation. DUI is not suspected.
