‘Happy to be back’ – WQLN’s Holiday Craft Show returns after four-year hiatus

After a four-year hiatus, WQLN is reviving one of its most popular holiday traditions.

It may be the middle of November but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to get into the holiday spirit.

In fact, now is the perfect time to find that unique, one-of-a-kind gift that you’ve been on the search for.

Santa Claus and his small business elves have made their way to Rainbow Gardens for WQLN’s Holiday Craft Show.

“Over half of our vendors are new to us, not new to the community — things like stained glass and a couple of polymer clay places. There’s something here for everyone,” said Jocelyn Taylor, fundraising engagement manager, WQLN PBS NPR.

And how could you not find something with over 100 vendors packing every inch of the building showcasing their homemade goods?

Taylor said during the event’s four-year break, it was highly requested from the community for its return.

“What it means to the community maybe means even more to WQLN knowing that it was such a time-honored tradition for so many families in our community, and we’re very happy to be back,” Taylor said.
