OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – New beginnings in Owensboro. Nine firefighters are sworn into the city fire department to keep the community safe. These latest recruits are the first in a few years to have academy training in house. It’s a packed firehouse inside Station 1 for that ceremony.
