NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was hospitalized after being stabbed at a Brooklyn subway station on Saturday morning, and police are searching for two suspects.
The stabbing happened at around 5:40 a.m. at the Bay 50th Street subway station in Gavesend, police said.
The victim, a 31-year-old man, was engaged in a verbal argument with two other men on the northbound D line platform when one of them knifed him in the abdomen, police said.
Officials said that he is in stable condition at NYU Langone Hospital.
The two suspects, described by police as men in their 20s, fled the scene in an unknown direction.
There have been no arrests and an investigation is ongoing.
