Presque Isle State Park

Allegheny National Forest

Pennsylvania’s only national forest, Allegheny National Forest offers scenic views of streams, rustic bridges, and the Allegheny Reservoir along its 200+ miles of trails.

Schuylkill River Trail

The Schuylkill River Trail is a 120-mile trail built mostly along abandoned railroad lines in southeastern Pennsylvania. It offers views of a variety of different landscapes — from the city of Philadelphia to the farm country of Berks County.

Quehanna Trail

Quehanna Trail winds through the Moshannon and Elk state forests and features some of the most wild parts of Pennsylvania. Hikers have reported seeing snakes, coyotes, deer, and other animals along the path.
