HOUSTON ( KIAH ) — The Houston Police Department (HPD) is looking for answers in an overnight shooting that occurred in an AutoZone Parking Lot located at 74 Aldine Bender .
According to reports, the male victim was driving along Aldine Bender when an unknown suspect pulled up alongside his vehicle and then began shooting toward him.
He was shot in the torso, resulting in a crash at the scene. He was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing as police uncover the motive behind the shooting in hopes of locating the suspect.
