Two-Game Losing Streak Testing Commanders

The Washington Commanders are in unchartered territory under Dan Quinn and Jayden Daniels. They are on a two-game losing streak.

Having been flying at 7-2, Washington has now dropped games to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles, making it the first time this season that consecutive games have been lost.

Quinn has preached determination and willingness to fight through adversity all year; now, his team must find out what they are really made of.

It’s all good and well to talk about how to handle the ups and downs, but when you are in the middle of a poor stretch, it tests everything regarding who you are as a player.

“We knew that adversity comes, like it just does, that’s why we love it so much, there’s hard parts,” Quinn said . “I said that the last two games, they’re tough, and they test your resolve, build some of your resilience, it’s a difficult four, five-game stretch. It also emphasizes the ability to go close it and be there at the end and go win it. Those are the lessons for us to say to be the team we can be, they have to go down on our terms.”
