(WJET/WFXP /YourErie.com ) — The Thanksgiving holiday is right around the corner and many are thinking about where we’ll be spending our dinners whether with friends, family or others.
Since some don’t always have a place to go for the holidays, there are many community group helping out and offering dinners to those who need them.
Below is a list of organizations/business in the area that will be providing Thanksgiving meals this month:
- Sisters of Saint Joseph (SSJ) Neighborhood Network
- Members with the Sisters of St. Joseph of NWPA, Gannon University and Metz Culinary Cuisine will deliver the meals to families
- These Thanksgiving meals will be delivery only
- Reserve a meal by calling 814-836-4198 between 9 a.m. and noon on Tuesday, Nov. 19. Dinner orders will only be taken during this time.
- Meals will be distributed on Nov. 28 between 8:15 a.m. to noon at 453 W 16th St
- Union City Moose Lodge #882
- On Nov. 28 from 4:30-7 p.m. at 3 Perry St. Take out and dine in for anyone in Union City
