PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Eagles legend Jason Kelce is at the top of the music charts with ” Maybe this Christmas .” With a little help from rock icon Stevie Nicks, the retired Eagles center has dethroned the queen of Christmas herself, Mariah Carey.
The holiday ditty — featuring the Philly Specials (Kelce and offensive tackles Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata) and Nicks — is currently sitting at No. 1 on the iTunes Top 100 Christmas Songs . The list changes daily.
And that’s not all. All three songs the Philly Specials released last week from the new album, “A Philly Special Christmas Party” — officially out on Friday, Nov. 22 — shot to the top of the iTunes list.
” Santa Drives an Astrovan ,” featuring special guest L.A.-based indie rock band Mount Joy, which has roots in Philadelphia, is right up there at No. 2, sending Carey and her 1994 smash “All I Want for Christmas is You” on a sleigh ride down to No. 3.
