Additional Coverage:

Nelly Korda, the world’s top-ranked female golfer, made a triumphant return to the LPGA Tour after a two-month absence. She staged a remarkable comeback on the back nine, birdieing five consecutive holes, to win The Annika tournament in Florida.

Korda’s victory was her seventh LPGA Tour title of the year, tying an LPGA record. She is the first player to achieve this feat since Yani Tseng in 2011.

Korda’s brother, Sebastian, a rising star in tennis, witnessed her victory for the first time, a special moment for the siblings.

Charley Hull, who had led the tournament going into the final round, couldn’t match Korda’s birdie barrage and finished tied for second with Jin Hee Im and Weiwei Zhang.

Korda’s victory also secured her a spot in the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship, where the winner receives $4 million.
