A New Aldi Is Opening In FL By Target, Burlington, & Affordable Senior Housing. Freebies At Opening

Some Floridians will be getting new Aldi stores soon. Some will get them because of the many Winn Dixie conversions that are either happening or scheduled to happen. Others have Aldi stores that have been recently built (independently of Winn Dixie – like the one I just wrote about opening in Fountainbleu or in Lecanto.) And now, we can add one more city to the list – Miami, Florida. And there are freebies at the grand opening.

The Shopping Options Near A Senior Center: The new Aldi is going to be located at 249 NW 6th Street in Miami in Sawyer’s Walk in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood. This is close to Target and Burlington. It is also across the street from Publix.

Additionally, the 25,000 square-foot Aldi, is within easy walking distance to a 578-unit affordable senior apartment community.

Freebies At The Grand Opening: The Sawyer’s Walk Aldi will officially open on November 21, 2024 – just in time for Thanksgiving. However, those who can’t wait can get a sneak peak on November 20, 2024.

The ribbon cutting will occur at 8:30 am, which is 30 minutes before the store opens. The first 100 customers will get a “goodie bag” full of Aldi goodies as well as a “golden ticket” which could be worth $100.
