Two Pedestrians Killed in Separate Brooklyn Crashes Over the Weekend, NYPD Reports

Two pedestrians were killed in separate crashes in Brooklyn over the weekend, according to the NYPD. Just before 2:30pm on Nov. 15, 30-year-old Brian Irizarry was standing on the sidewalk at 4th Avenue and 60th Street in Sunset Park when he lost his balance and fell into the roadway, police say. At that point, he was run over by an International MV607 truck. EMS pronounced Irizarry dead on arrival. At 3:45am on Nov. 16, police say a 60-year-old man was crossing Flatbush Avenue at Hendrickson Place in Marine Park, apparently outside the crosswalk, when he was hit by the 23-year-old driver.
