A week in November: Big Cascade snow, a bomb cyclone, and lots of rain

It’s a cold and wet November evening, not really breaking news of course. But we have some real weather this week so it’s time for a (not so quick) blog post to cover the weather fun. Big message? We are in a bit of “pre-winter”, typical winter weather for the region even though it’s not winter technically. Winter for us typically means valley rain, mountain snow, and gusty southerly or easterly wind at times. This week is checking all those boxes.
