BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – An 18-month-old girl and a man were shot during a shootout in the Wylam area of Birmingham. Officers were dispatched on a call about a child shot about 6:45 p.m. Sunday, and later located a scene near Lexington Street at 7th Avenue in Wylam. Police believe a shootout took place at the 5-Way service station at 4800 8th Avenue.
