PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A Pickens man pled guilty Friday to shooting his estranged wife in front of children.
Officials sentenced 31-year-old Joshua Scott Bradford on domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, unlawful conduct toward a child and assault & battery first-degree.
Evidence in court presented that on Jan. 26, Bradford shot the victim at close range in the presence of three minor children.
Bradford was sentenced to the maximum term of 20 years in the SC Department of Corrections.
The case was investigated by the SC Law Enforcement Division.
