DENVER ( KDVR ) — Following a two-month-long investigation, the Douglas and Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office completed a major drug bust that resulted in the seizure of drugs, firearms and thousands of dollars in cash, as well as the arrest of a 42-year-old local.
On Monday, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said its IMPACT team, along with the Arapahoe County Special Investigation Unit, seized significant quantities of drugs and firearms after receiving tips.

The bust stems from an investigation in late September when Douglas County patrol deputies initiated a driving under the influence of drugs investigation involving fentanyl. During that investigation, the sheriff’s office said it contacted the IMPACT team for further help.
Detectives said a home in the 9200 block of East Summit Road was suspected of narcotics distribution. The house is in Parker, south of the Pathfinder Park at Inspiration.
The Arapahoe County Special Investigation Unit also received two tips confirming the home was the site of illegal sales of narcotics.
