Latino-owned grocer opens new Central California location with guac station and sushi bar

Vallarta Supermarkets, one of California’s largest Latino-owned grocery chains, is set to open a new store in Clovis, Calif. on November 20, 2024, with a Grand Opening Ceremony at 8:00 AM. The store, located at 170 W. Shaw Ave., spans over 51,000 square feet and will create 218 new jobs. Vallarta continues to expand its legacy of offering quality products and exceptional customer service, with fresh produce, a sushi station, made-to-order guacamole, and more. Other highlights include La Isla juice bar, La Fruteria fruit bowls, a Carniceria with premium meats, and a wide selection of Latin American baked goods, the company stated.
