Queen Creek district student-athletes commit to colleges

Eight high school student-athletes from the Queen Creek Unified School District are moving forward in their athletic endeavors.

Students from Queen Creek High School and Crismon High School recently signed with colleges and universities.

The following QCHS have committed to their new schools’ athletic programs:

  • Izzy Mahaffey-volleyball, California State-Long Beach, Long Beach, California
  • Haleina Bowers-volleyball, University of North Florida, Jacksonville, Florida
  • Kiana Landers-volleyball, California State-Bakersfield, Bakersfield, California
  • Zane Spears-swim, Adams State University, Alamosa, Colorado
  • Alex Gamboa-baseball, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, California
  • Gabriella Ciavattone-lacrosse, Rockhurst University, Kansas City, Missouri

From CHS:

  • Kenny Wilsford-baseball, Eastern Arizona College, Thatcher, Arizona
  • David Poldoian-baseball, Ottawa University, Surprise, Arizona
