A Tualatin man who approached and harassed three women in Cook Family Park last summer — allegedly grabbing the bottom of one victim — has pleaded guilty to third-degree sexual abuse and sentenced to two years of supervised probation.
On Nov. 12, Jhonatan Temprana-Olivares, who was 29 at the time of the incidents, pleaded guilty to the charge at the Washington County Courthouse, according to court records.
Temprana-Olivares’s sentencing was first reported by KGW-News.
All three women reported incidents that involved Temprana-Olivares contacting them inside the park on Aug. 12.
The first incident involved a report of harassment as Temprana-Olivares came up directly behind a woman who was running on a trail near the park’s volleyball court on Aug. 12. That trail connects to neighborhoods along Tualatin Road.
In a second reported incident, a woman said that Temprana-Olivares grabbed her bottom with both hands before fleeing into a nearby woods.
Tigard police found and arrested Temprana-Olivares a short time later.
