18-year-old arrested in Allentown shooting, cops say

An Allentown man is accused of firing multiple shots and then attempting to flee a city street, police said. Nehemiah Steele, 18, of the 600 block of N. 16th St., is charged with felony firearms not to be carried without a license; misdemeanor evading arrest; and misdemeanor drug offenses. Steele was arrested shortly after the 4:15 p.m. incident on Saturday following a brief foot chase by police, Allentown Police Capt. Kyle Pammer said.
