SHREVEPORT, La. — Multiple agencies are joining forces to address the homeless population in the downtown and Red River District areas. The Shreveport Police Department’s Community Oriented Policing Bureau will be joined by Hope Connections Street Outreach and CADA Mobile Crisis Response in a collaborative effort to address the challenges of the homeless population, which has been a growing concern for downtown businesses and patrons.
