Tyson vs. Holyfield Rematch Unlikely
Boxing legend Mike Tyson has been challenged to a rematch by his former rival, Evander Holyfield, just days after his fight against Jake Paul.
Holyfield, whose last official fight was in 2011, posted a message on Instagram along with a mock flyer, expressing his desire to settle “unfinished business” in the ring.
However, Tyson responded, saying that while he loves Holyfield, their friendship is more important than a third fight.
Holyfield defeated Tyson twice in the 1990s, including the infamous “Bite Fight” in 1997. A planned rematch in 2021 was canceled due to disagreements.
Despite his loss to Paul, Tyson has hinted that he is not ready to retire, and has called out Jake’s brother, Logan, for a future fight.
