2-month-old boy found unresponsive in Grand Crossing neighborhood, police conducting death investigation

CHICAGO — Detectives are conducting a death investigation, pending autopsy results, after a 2-month-old boy was found unresponsive late Monday night in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the city’s South Side.

Chicago police say the 2-month-old boy was found unresponsive at around 10:15 p.m. inside a residence in the 6300 block of South Dr. Martin Luther King Drive. The boy was transported to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No other information was available.
