Oxford Oaks tenants say water leaks are leading to moldy apartments

EDMOND, Okla. (KFOR) — Multiple water leaks have lead to a moldy apartment at Oxford Oaks in Edmond.

Several people say they have mold in their apartments. One woman says she just couldn’t take it anymore and broke her lease.

She says she constantly reached out to management, sent work orders in, even called corporate but says they acted like they didn’t care so she broke her lease.

“For weeks I tried to have someone come out and look at it, and just no one ever really did,” Taylor Harris, former tenant at Oxford Oaks said. “They kept putting me on the back burner. They kept pushing me off.”

There are more troubles at Oxford Oaks with apparent water leaks not being taken care of, turning into moldy areas around the apartment.

“Like seeping out of my walls and my kitchen and my AC unit area, the hallway and my bedroom and my bathroom,” Harris said.

This caused a major concern for her and her kids.
