Man wanted for knocking woman, 84, to ground on Upper East Side

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a man who allegedly knocked an 84-year-old woman to the ground in broad daylight on the Upper East Side last weekend.

The NYPD released images Tuesday of the suspect in Saturday afternoon’s attack at 188 East 86 th St.

The victim was in front of a hair salon just before 12:45 p.m. when the man knocked her down for no apparent reason, police said.

He fled on foot and was last seen headed northbound on Third Avenue, according to police.

The victim was treated at the scene by EMS.
