Allegiant announces new one-way route at PIE, 8 new routes at SRQ

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Allegiant announced a new one-way route to Colorado at the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport that starts in February and eight new routes at the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.

With the new flight at PIE and other new routes, Allegiant expanded its network options in 51 cities nationwide.

They have also added three airports to its network: Gulf Shore International Airport, Colorado Springs Airport, and Columbia Metropolitan Airport, according to Allegiant.

“We’re excited to announce that Allegiant is expanding nationwide, offering even more travel options to our customers,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer.

The St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport added a new one-way fare to Colorado Springs, Colorado that will begin on Feb. 14, 2025.

The Sarasota Bradenton International Airport new routes include:

  • Greenville/Spartanburg, South Carolina- beginning Feb. 13
  • Moline, Illinois- beginning Feb. 13
  • Albany, New York- beginning Feb. 14
  • Elmira/Corning, New York – beginning Feb. 14
  • Omaha, Nebraska- beginning Feb. 14
  • Roanoke, Virginia- beginning Feb. 14
  • Great Smoky Mountains National Park/Knoxville, Tennessee-beginning Feb. 14
  • Lexington, Kentucky- beginning April 3
