Eastern Iowa districts expect cuts following enrollment decreases

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The superintendent of the Decorah Community School District said there’s no doubt about it: cuts are coming to the district. “It’s concerning because we know that our state funding will decrease. So we just have to as a district-we talked about how we provide an excellent education up here in Decorah, and how we want to continue to provide an excellent education in Decorah, and plan to, but have to do it with less funding,” said Tim Cronin, Superintendent of the Decorah Community School District.
