Weather Forecast For The San Francisco Bay Area

Daytime highs will be in the high 50s to low 60s. Overnight lows will be in the lows 40s to low 50s.

Forecasters say low temps will drop into Tuesday morning with Freeze Warnings in effect for the interior North Bay and interior Central Coast. A Frost Advisory is also in effect for the interior East and South Bays and Santa Cruz coastal regions.

The region is also expected to see on Tuesday increasing cloud cover and a shift to a south wind, while out in the northeastern Pacific, a rapidly strengthening low pressure system will gather subtropical moisture and begin directing it towards the West Coast, according to the NWS.

Until 6 a.m. Thursday, a Wind Advisory is over San Francisco and San Francisco Bay Shoreline, the Marin Hills, western Sonoma County Hills, and Coastal North Bay including Point Reyes National Seashore.
