The National Weather Service released this video of the bomb cyclone off the U.S. West Coast that’s threatening to bring heavy rainfall to western Oregon and significant snow to the Cascades. A bomb cyclone occurs during the rapid intensification of a cyclone located between the tropics and the polar regions.
