ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 35-year-old man was found guilty of murdering another man last July in Rochester .
According to prosecutors, July 21, 2023, Herley Williams walked up to Todd Jones, also 35, and shot him in the chest as he stood on the corner of North Goodman Street and Diringer Place in broad daylight. Jones was later found by officers dead on the scene.

Williams was arrested 11 days later and found with an illegal gun. According to prosecutors, Jones and Williams knew each other.
Tuesday, Williams was officially convicted of murder in the second degree and three counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. He will be sentenced Jan. 17.
