Pensacola receives $5.95 million for ‘Carpenter Creek Bayou Texar Outfalls Project’

PENSACOLA, Fla. — The City of Pensacola has been awarded $5.12 million in RESTORE funding from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. It’s for the Carpenter Creek Bayou Texar Outfalls Project, which the city says will help improve Bayou Texar’s water quality and ecological health through the addition of five advanced stormwater treatment measures along the bayou.
