Authorities say a teenager fatally shot during a large gathering Saturday night knew the perpetrator with video footage that backs it up.
The Collier County Sheriff’s identified the victim in Saturday night’s shooting at 3035 64 th St. S.W. as Deshia Arthur, 18, of Naples.
According to the sheriff’s office, homeowner Alex Torres told sheriff’s deputies he rented out the house at the time of the shooting and said parties were not allowed.
Authorities said Torres reported he was aware of a party his home cameras captured.
As sheriff’s deputies approached, they reported scores of attendees, accounting for approximately 80 people present.
Sheriff’s deputies then ordered everyone to exit through the front door, but several people fled to the backyard, jumped the fence and headed toward Golden Gate Parkway.
Two sheriff’s deputies then reported they heard multiple gunshots and saw “muzzle flash” on the street.
