Diddy Denied Island House Arrest

Additional Coverage:

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ request for house arrest on a private island was denied by a judge.

Combs’ legal team proposed the arrangement, claiming it would be more restrictive than his current detention in Brooklyn. However, the judge rejected the idea.

As an alternative, Combs’ lawyers offered house arrest at his Upper East Side apartment with 24/7 security and restricted access to communication and visitors.

Prosecutors have accused Combs of attempting to influence witnesses and taint the jury pool. He has been denied bail three times since his September arrest on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Combs’ trial is scheduled for May 2025, and a decision on his bail request is expected next week.
