We have a warm up on the way for the next few days. The return of breezy south winds will push noticeably warmer and muggier air into Central Texas for the weekend. We will make it into the mid 70s Saturday afternoon, with south winds running 10-20 mph. Stronger south winds move in for Saturday, gusting at times up to 30 mph, and that will really push in the muggier air. Thanks to the extra humidity, morning lows on Sunday will only drop into the mid 50s. Highs Sunday and Monday will make it into the low 80s. A cold front will move through during the afternoon/early evening hours of Monday, and that will drop our highs on Tuesday down into the mid 60s. Rain not expected as the front blows in with just drier and cooler air for Tuesday. This will be a short lived cooldown, as breezy south winds will warm us back into the low 80s on Wednesday.
