Pedestrian struck by vehicle dies, 65-year-old driver charged with DUI third offense

NASHVILLE, Tenn.–The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) has identified a woman now deceased after she was struck by a vehicle while crossing a Nashville street. MNPD reports 33-year-old Keanna T. Morris was crossing outside of the intersection at Lafayette Street near Fairfield Avenue around 2:20 a.m. last Sunday when she was struck by a 65-year-old woman driving a Chrysler 200. That woman, identified as Donna D. Gray, smelled of alcohol and showed indicators of being impaired. Police say she admitted to using cocaine and drinking three or four beers.
