MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — Investigators with the Fire Marshal’s Office are looking into the cause of an apartment fire that broke out late Friday night in Murfreesboro.
The Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department was called to the scene at Colony House Apartments in the 1500 block of Huntington Drive just before midnight.
The source of the fire was in an upper-level unit of the building.
Multiple crews responded to the scene, and firefighters used ladders to reach the unit and safely extinguish the flames.

According to officials, a woman and two pets were home at the time and escaped without injuries.
