MURFREESBORO, TENN. – A woman and her two pets safely escaped a fire in their apartment just before midnight, authorities confirmed. The fire broke out in an upstairs unit at the Colony House Apartments on Huntington Drive. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene, where firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading further.
