CITRONELLE, Ala. (WKRG) — Officials in Citronelle are investigating after one person dies in a crash and a second is hurt. According to a Facebook post , Citronelle Fire Rescue responded to a crash on Highway 45 and Carson Dickinson Road between two vehicles at 7:45 Saturday night. Two people were trapped.
The post says both people were freed from the vehicles, but one person died. The second patient was flown to University Hospital for treatment. We don’t know the condition of the second person.
The post says Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Rescue also assisted in the call. We’ve reached out to Citronelle Fire Rescue for more information and are waiting to hear back.
